Election Night in the Student Center!!!!
This is absolutely, by far, no questions asked, hands down my favorite time of the year because….its Junior Review Time (Rachel did a short post earlier this week about it)!!!!
Every Fall and Spring Term Visual Arts students in their Junior year will do a mini retrospective of their work and have a conversation with a randomly assigned group of three visual arts faculty. This is an opportunity for the students to get new feedback, discuss Senior work, explore courses that they should take in the future, and receive critique. Its also, of course, a delightful experience for faculty who often are completely unfamiliar with the work of a student they have never taught.
I will be posting images from the major mediums used during this particular Junior Review (reviews are up until Monday, so if you are making your way to Campus be sure to check them out!). Categories will be: Painting, Photography, Architecture, Ceramics, Drawing, and more!
